Discover why a vibrant business community is important to Sunnyvale. Become familiar with the role of the City and the Chamber of Commerce in supporting and encouraging economic development
Learn how the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department provides fire, police and emergency services. Meet a representative from the District Attorney and Public Defender’s offices.
Examine Sunnyvale's local government structure: key Department Directors will give presentations on "who what and why." Tour Civic Center facilities.
Experience education by presenting a Junior Achievement program in an elementary classroom. Explore major issues facing local school districts in Sunnyvale with school administrators.
Visit sites that demonstrate Sunnyvale's commitment to the environment.
Become familiar with how the Public Works Department maintains the city's infrastructure. Gain knowledge of programs presented by Parks and Rec. for residents of all ages and interests.
Projections of what will happen in these key areas in Sunnyvale.
The class will pick the date and time of graduation.
